July 12, 1925 - September 2, 2012 Betty May Beard, 87, of Westminster, CO passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012 at St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, CO. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, September 10, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Saint Mark Catholic Church, 3141 West 96th Avenue, Westminster, CO 80031. Betty Beard was born July 12, 1925 in Denver CO, the daughter of Robert and Helen Harlan. She grew up in Rye, CO. She transferred to South High School, Denver, CO for her senior year and graduation. Betty was a retired Insurance Claims Adjuster and member of Saint Mark Catholic Church. She had a life time love of the mountains and nature. Survivors include her daughter Kathleen Isola of Arvada, CO; her son Stephen Beard and his wife Cheryl of Tempe, AZ; two grandchildren, Alia Beard Rau and her husband Phil, Jeremy Beard and his wife Gina, three great-grand children; Isaac Rau, Eli Beard and Clara Beard, and numerous nieces and nephews.
