Betty L. Barratt passed away peacefully on September 18, 2016 in Denver, Colorado with family at her side. Betty was born on February 3, 1932 in Gothenburg, Nebraska to Goldie and Fred Kvarfordt. As a young child her family moved to Pocatello Idaho to escape the dust bowl conditions in Nebraska. She married James Cleve Barratt on January 26, 1949. They had five children. Cleve and Betty settled in Longmont Colorado where she enjoyed working as a bookkeeper for A and H Air Conditiioning. She loved cross country skiing, square dancing, bowling, golfing, motorcycle riding, traveling and reading. She is survived by her children Karen Dunbar (Gary) of Grand Junction , James Barratt (Debbie) of Littleton, Susan Barratt of Boulder and Daniel Barratt (Alice) of Hayden Colo. She is also survived by three grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two brothers Fritz and Don. She was preceded in death by Cleve in 1993, her daughter Kathryn Lynott in 2014, two sisters, Virginia and Joan, and two brothers Ron and Jack. She was loved. At Betty's request no services will be held.
