May 8, 1919 - July 16, 2014 Irene Brown; Born Bernice Irene Stewart in Kirk, CO on May 8, 1919. Irene married Earl Brown of Julian, NE on August 2,1939 She passed away in Arvada, CO on July 16, 2014. Irene was preceded in death by her husband Earl, sons Gerald, Russell and Vernon, daughter Linda, 4 grandchildren, and 1 great grand child. Irene is survived by 9 children, 26 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 7 great, great, grandchildren. The family gratefully acknowledges with sincere and deep appreciation, the many comforting expressions of sympathy through cards, flowers and other acts of kindness shown in our hours of bereavement. Services will be held at Northwest Church of Christ 5255 W. 98th Ave. Westminster, CO 80020 July 25, 2014 at 9 am, Graveside services at Claremont Cemetery in Stratton, CO at 2 pm, officiated by James Cary In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital at http://www.stjude.org
