Barbara Jean Rose

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, Barbara Jean Rose. She was born in Denver, Colorado March 3, 1951 and died in Arvada, Colorado on April 9, 2018. She had been struggling with a variety if illnesses over the last several years. Barb was born to Gerald and Martha Weygint. She grew up in Edgewater, CO and graduated from Northglenn High School. Barb worked in the banking industry for almost 40 years. She is survived by her children Chris Rose and Jenn Rose Clute. Chris's wife Trish, grandchildren Trevor and Sara, Jenn’s husband Gardner, and three grand kitties, all of whom live locally. Her brother Jerry and his wife Sue, niece Alison, sister Carol and niece Jessica, all of Tucson, Arizona. Our mom had an amazing sense of humor, big heart, sweet smile and a heart-warming laugh. She loved and lived for her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren. Our mom sacrificed, often working multiple jobs to provide for us. Her sacrifice continued after death, choosing to be any eye and tissue donor. Our mom loved animals, the beach, ice cream and other sweets. She delighted in meals out with family and friends. She was a great cook, leaving us several memories and recipes to cherish. She was know for her baking, especially at birthdays and holidays. Her body started failing her with many health issues and we are grateful she is no longer suffering. She will be forever remembered and missed by friends, neighbors, co workers and family. There will now be a huge missing part of our lives, as we learn to live without the most influential person in our daily lives. A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 9, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Bethlehem Lutheran church, 2100 Wadsworth Blvd Lakewood, Colorado
