July 11, 1929 - December 2, 2011 FALL, BARBARA HILL, 1929-2011, teacher, businesswoman, community volunteer, and long-time resident of Golden, died peacefully on December 2, 2011 at the age of 82. She will be remembered especially for her guiding role in the creation of the Golden Community Center and Fossil Trace Golf Club during her nearly two decades of service on the Advisory Board of the Golden Parks and Recreation Department. She was raised in Prescott, AZ, graduated from the University of Arizona, taught in elementary and junior high schools in Tucson, Salt Lake City, and Golden, and was president of Kiva Corporation. Her radiant love and kindness were inspirational to her family and many friends. She is survived by Samuel Fall, her high-school sweetheart and husband of 62 years, by her three children (Michael, Christine, and Patricia), four grandchildren (Jessica, Amber, Samuel, and William), and three great grandchildren (Madeline, Gabriel, and Stone). Barbara's family invites members of the community to a celebration of her life at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, at Fossil Trace Club House in Golden. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be sent to the Barbara Fall Memorial Fund, US Bank, 1801 Jackson Street, Golden, CO 80401 in support of a memorial garden in the Golden Parks.
