July 7, 1941 - November 22, 2012 August "Augie" Wayne Frankmore of Golden, passed away November 22, 2012 at a local health care center, he was 71 years old. Born July 7, 1941 in Pueblo to the late Charles and Clara Frankmore. He was a graduate of Central High School and then received a Bachelor's Degree in History from Colorado State College. After college he was a Medic in the United States Army, stationed in San Antonio, TX. He was director of Special Education for the Adams County School District and went on to own and manage his own roofing company from the late 1970's until his death. He enjoyed fishing, avid sports fan, cooking, and spending time with his four grandchildren. He is survived by his children William Shelby Frankmore of Reno, NV and Diane Michael Case of Arvada. His grandchildren, Ashley Case, Sadie Case, Ryan Frankmore, and Jack Frankmore; two brothers, Joseph Frankmore and Charles Frankmore. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 11;00am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1985 Miller St. Lakewood; Visitation will begin at 10:00am. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Stroke Association, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Malesich and Shirey Funeral Home Colorado Crematory of Arvada.
