September 13, 1925 - September 17, 2011 Armella K. Schuvie Melson, September 13, 1925 - September 17, 2011. Mother of Peter Schuvie, Cyndi (Arnie) Pigg and Rodney Schuvie (deceased). She is also survived by her grandchildren Tera (Scott) Bloomfield and their children, Jaelyn, Emma and Seth, Trevor (Nicole)Pigg and their children, Chelsea, Kaylee, Cameron, Gavin, Madison and Logan, Michelle (Mike) Wymer and their children Zachary and Shyla, and Sherie (Troy) Farstveet and their children Dustin, Brian and Dylan; 2 great-great-grandsons, Gabriel Perez(Dustin) and Baby Boy Medina (Chelsea); sisters, Geri Holmgren, Rita (Norm) Leiker and Mildred Hoagland; brother, Jake (MaryAnn) Schoendaller. A rosary/visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Funeral Mass to be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 10:00 A.M., also at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4377 Utica Street. In lieu of flowers, or for those who wish, the family request donations be made to The Arvada Food Bank, 8555 West 57th Avenue, Arvada, CO, 80002 or the food bank or Meals on Wheels program of your choosing. These services are extremely important and serve so many people in need. We the family of Armella, wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who have expressed their condelences and included Armella in their prayers. The shadows of sorrow are dashed by the light of friendship and prayer. In addition, we also wish to thank all who have offered assistance to the family during this time.
