Ardyce Ione (Preston) Castle

Ardyce Ione (Preston) Castle, 91, of Wheat Ridge Colorado died Thursday June 22, 2023 at Allison Memory Care Center in Lakewood Colorado. She was born June 8, 1932 in Independence, Iowa to Harold E. and Mabel M. Preston.

She married her second husband William R. Castle in Canoga Park, California in 1962. She later divorced. She worked as an accountant for Asamera Oil Co until 1979. She later tried her hand as a secretary for the American Red Cross and even picked dates for a company in Arizona.

She is survived by her brother, David Preston and sister, Sharon Preston Johnson, both of Iowa; daughter, Kim Castle Santorno and son, Gregg Castle; three grandchildren, Anthoney and Jenna Santorno and Abigail D’ette Castle all of Colorado.

Ardyce is preceded in death by brother, Paul A Preston and sister, Darlene Preston Page.

Her hobbies were gardening and walking everywhere, but her favorite was square dancing, and her group won many awards. She continued dancing well into her late seventies.

At her request, no services will be held, just great memories.
