April Lynn Emery

April Lynn Emery, born on July 17, 1964, peacefully passed away at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO, surrounded by her loving family. After a courageous battle with COPD that spanned over a decade, April's spirit remains vibrant in the hearts of all who knew her.

April, known to many as a devoted wife, cherished her 40-year marriage to her high school sweetheart, Morgan Emery. Their love story began when they were just 15, blossoming into a partnership filled with laughter and shared dreams. Together, they raised two beautiful daughters, Alyssa Fryer and Amey Emery, who carry forward their mother's unyielding spirit.

April was the beloved sister of Barry Randall, Jr. and Brenda Randall, as well as a doting grandmother to Alexis and Hazelynn Aitken. She is also remembered fondly by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members, all of whom admired her for her loving nature and infectious laughter.

A proud graduate of Arvada High School, April dedicated much of her life to her family. She became a devoted homemaker and ran her own house cleaning business, focusing on the needs of the elderly for nearly a decade. Her caring and compassionate heart extended to every animal her family brought home, welcoming cats, dogs, birds, and even a five-foot iguana into their lives, though drawing the line at snakes and spiders.

April had a passion for gardening, nurturing a bountiful vegetable garden filled with green beans, pumpkins, corn, and more, which brought joy to her family. Music was the rhythm of her life; she loved to dance and sing along to any tune that played, filling their home with melody and laughter.

Her personality was a delightful blend of passion, care, wit, and just the right amount of sarcasm. April had a unique ability to make everyone laugh, often bringing characters from television and movies to life with her impressions—Cartman being a family favorite.

April is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Barry Randall, Sr. and Mary Randall (Lard), as well as her in-laws, Roy Emery and Thelma Emery (Martenis).

As we celebrate the loving life of April Lynn Emery, we find comfort in the memories she created and the love she shared. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and joy, forever etched in the hearts of her family and friends.
