June 26, 1919 - October 11, 2011 Anne Temple was born on June 26, 1919 and left this realm on October 11, 2011. She was the beloved mother of Pat Hall and Tom Temple, irreplaceable Nonnie to Chris and Ailla Avery, Brandy and Trevor Lykens, and Jannea and Tony Varni, and great grandmother to Saija, Jake, and AnaLea. Anne grew up in Denver and helped raise her family of 5 brothers and sisters. She was married the love of her life, John Temple for 32 years. She never remarried after his death, saying “There could never be another man for me, he was the very best.” She was a devoted member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and joined the parish at its founding in 1967. She spent many joyful hours in service of the parish, setting up for special events, cooking spaghetti dinners for the priests and bishop, and tending to all who arrived for morning coffee on Thursday mornings after mass. Her friends found her to be a devoted companion and confidant. She always had a kind word for those she didn't know well and a compassionate heart for those in pain. Travel well, dear one, may you find peace and joy in those realms we have yet to visit. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations in her name be made to St. Joan of Arc Parish, Arvada. Recitation of the Rosary is scheduled at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 12735 W. 58th Avenue, Arvada, CO, on Thursday, October 13, 5:30 P.M.. Funeral Mass will be Friday, October 14, at 10:30 A.M. preceded by visitation at 9:30 A.M.
