Anita Louise (Parks) Farley

Anita was born, Anita Louise Parks on November 6, 1929 in Sedalia, Missouri to parents, Ural L. and Ella M. Parks. She attended Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia. She met the love of her life, Ken Farley, at the 1st Baptist Church of Sedalia where they married on May 31, 1953. They moved to St. Louis, Missouri not long after their marriage and lived for a few years until they moved to Arvada, Colorado where they raised their 4 sons, Steve of AZ, Terry of MO, Dave of CO and Jeff of CO. They retired in Weslaco, Texas where they lived for several years, until their move back to Arvada, Colorado in 2016. Anita peacefully passed away into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on September 7, 2019 just shy of her 90th Birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband Ken, who passed on March 20, 2018. Anita leaves her 4 sons, 3 daughter-in-law’s, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The celebration of her life will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery on September 17th at 9:00am, in her final resting place with her beloved husband Ken.
