Allen J. Tyler, life-long resident of Denver, passed away unexpectedly on January 24, 2017 at the age of 53 in Westminster, Colorado at St. Anthony North Health Campus. Allen was born in Denver, Colorado on January 17, 1964 to Clyde and Timothea Tyler. He graduated from Mapleton High School in 1982 and would marry his high school sweetheart Tonia Wenzel on May 21, 1983. They would share 33 years together and welcome their two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Kayleen, into the world in 1988 and 1992 respectively. Allen was a devoted husband and father. He took pride in his family and was very proud of his children and their accomplishments. He had a lifelong passion for horses and the one of a kind bond he shared with his horse Nicholas was extraordinary. In his free time Allen enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and trail riding in the mountains. He also loved country music and was a guitar player. He worked as a Telephone Technician for over 30 years and had been employed at Source Communications since 2011. In all aspects of his life Allen was hardworking and dedicated, always willing to go above and beyond. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. Allen is survived by his wife, Tonia Tyler (née Wenzel); his children, Ashley and Kayleen Tyler; his siblings, Tracey Giddens (née Tyler), Randel Tyler, and Lyle Tyler; and his nieces and nephews.
