The sun rose on the life of Alisha Anne Graves Friday, September 24, 1982, in Thornton, Colorado. This beautiful baby girl was God’s gift to Tamra Lynn Graves and Clarence Austin Drake. Alisha was a bright and bubbly little girl and she maintained this disposition throughout her lifetime. She received her formal education within the District 50 educational system. Later, she applied for and earned her GED. Having the ability to make others feel good about themselves was a rare gift which Alisha possessed. She saw only the good and positive qualities in others. She refused to harbor ill feelings or resort to vengeance but she chose rather to forgive and keep moving forward. Alisha loved and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children. She would take time to do something special with each child. She was a very loving and doting mother. Even to her “adopted daughter,” Gypsy, her chihuahua.
