March 20, 1934 - September 13, 2011 77, known by her family and friends as "Addie," resident of Wheat Ridge, Colorado. After a short illness, Addie passed away peacefully at Collier Hospice Center in Wheat Ridge, CO. Addie was born March 20, 1934, in Corbin, KY, and grew up in Denver, CO. She was the oldest of four children born to the late James W. Roark and Mary (Lee) Roark. She was preceded in death by her son Terrence Layman. Addie will forever be remembered and missed by her surviving children Pam Shaffer, Don Christenson, Marylyn Christenson, Sandy Dodson, and 10 treasured grandchildren Jennifer, Marshall, Brandi, Michelle, Nicole, Eric, Lonnie, Amanda, Bradley and Michael,along with countless other friends and family who were blessed to have known her. Addie loved her family dearly. Addie touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Memorial service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on 9/30/2011 at 10:15 A.M., Staging Area "C".
